Born in 2002 in New York City, since his early childhood Adam Schultz showed his amazing skills for music and especially for guitar, often saying he wanted to become a professional guitar player. His father took him to guitar lessons with Clarence Spady who, since that moment became his mentor, which allowed Adam to meet and perform with a good number of New York blues and jazz musicians. Spady has also co-produced this Adam Schultz’s debut album, where he shows that with only eighteen years he has already become an excellent guitar player who feels comfortable in jazz, soul and blues music. In the album he is surrounded by Clarence Spady himself on guitar and vocals, Adam Cohen on bass and Sharon O’Connell on drums, plus a bunch of reliable guests who contribute to give to the eleven album songs an own personality and a sophisticated elegant style, where sometimes the blues combines with the just mentioned styles, giving an additional charm to the five Adam’s own compositions and the six versions such as “A Real Mother For Ya” by Johnny Guitar Watson, “Early In The Mornin'” by Louis Jordan or “44 Blues” by Roosevelt Sykes.
