It is always a great pleasure to enjoy listening to the new pieces of work of this acoustic German duo who deeply know pre-war acoustic blues as few artist do, especially if they are white and European ones For this cd they have chosen twelve songs they perform in the most pure traditional Mississippi delta, Carolina Piedmont blues, gospel and country Texas blues styles The result is a brilliant work, a treasure that deserves to be in the best blues record collections Besides vocals, you will find different instruments in this cd, such as acoustic six and twelve strings guitars, harmonica, washboard, kazoo and percussion, all them played by these two excellent musicians called Annie Sauerwein and Harals Goldhahn, with Tom Derksen as special guest on piano and tenor and soprano sax It also deserves a special mention to the carefully done cd cover desing, including a complete very interesting inner small book
