Once again we get back to the music performed for enjoyment and fun by the southern black communities at the begining of last century Joyful weekend country parties with fried fish, wine, dance and songs So the music you will find here is completely acoustic, with no amplification, only piano, soprano sax, six or thelve strings guitars, harmonica, ruboard etc This central European duo gives a passionate performing showing an amazing feeling It is always a pleasure to listen to old Funny Papa Smith’s or Reverend Gary Davis’ tunes among others Harald Goldhahn and Annie Sauerwein playing is really immense This duo must be calmy savoured and enjoyed, both in cd as in live shows If they have a gig in your town, do me a favour, and do not miss them
