A good work and well performed cd Abner Burnett is a complete competent multi-instrumentist musician but, over all, a gifted original songwriter This cd, published by his small independant label Worpt Productions, includes twelve original songs plus two covers which make us see his captivating performing abilities in such original tunes like ‘Boomtown’, ‘Sorry As I Can Be’ or ‘Brightside’, that give us a very special feeling quite difficult to describe Anyway, it is an interesting cd, lovely and tastefully performed, where Abner offers the best of himself, which deserves the interest of real blues lovers who look for something different than popular well known ‘shuffles’
