Line-up Corbera Blues Festival 2026. 26 to 28 June

The 11th Corbera Blues Festival Unveils Lineup with All Confirmed Bands
  • Stephen Hull, Sheryl Youngblood, and Johnny Iguana, three Chicago blues icons, will headline the festival.
  • The event will take place from June 26 to 28, and all concerts will be free of charge.
All the bands making up the lineup for the 11th Corbera Blues Festival have now been revealed. In its eleventh edition, the event gathers a roster of musicians selected for their artistic quality and commitment to blues music and culture. In doing so, the festival organization remains faithful to its philosophy of showcasing blues in its truest essence, respecting its diverse styles and traditions.
The program is headlined by the Chicago Summer Tour band, which will close the first night of the festival on Friday the 26th. The lineup, which brings together three generations of Chicago blues icons, is led by the young guitarist Stephen Hull alongside his band, Trio Experience. It is completed by two key figures from the Chicago scene: singer Sheryl Youngblood and pianist Johnny Iguana.
The performance that will put the finishing touch on Saturday the 27th will be led by the Riccardo Grosso Band, with their raw and hypnotic blues. The Italian band stands out for its powerful harmonica and strong stage presence, captivating the audience through pure, direct, and unvarnished performances.
Prior to the transalpine group, virtuoso guitarist, harmonicist, and singer Richard Ray Farrell will present his new project alongside some of the most prominent blues musicians of recent decades who currently reside in Europe. The band features drummer Julian Vaughn (Albert King, B.B. King, Otis Rush…), bassist Kris Jefferson (Curtis Salgado, Guy King…), and pianist/organist Álvaro Gandul (Raimundo Amador, Kiko Veneno…).
The small stage at the Rosa dels Vents Park will host two solo format performances. Richard Ray Farrell, this time performing solo, will act as an ambassador of American blues in Spain with a recital that journeys back to the roots of rural blues. Meanwhile, British guitarist and singer Dave Thomas will offer an acoustic concert focused on the blues that inspired 1960s England, which later evolved into progressive and psychedelic sounds.
Another American blues icon based in our country is Richard ‘White Boy’ White. For his performance at the Corbera Blues Festival, he will merge his raw and pure performance style with the delicate harp playing and subtle vocals of the multifaceted French artist Noémie Delavennat. Mendoza & Garzinsky will also perform as a duo, two artists with extensive careers who turn every concert into a space of genuine emotions.
As in every edition, there will be an outstanding representation of Valencian bands. The Ubangi Stomp is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year by presenting a new album. Epi y Blues brings together veteran musicians from the Valencian scene in a proposal that blends blues with hints of rock & roll, soul, and rhythm & blues. Additionally, from the Societat de Blues de la Ribera Baixa, Rom & The Obsolettes will offer an electric blues repertoire inspired by some of the genre’s greatest icons, such as Eric Clapton, Freddie King, and B.B. King.
There will also be room for future musicians to showcase their talent. Students from the Espai de Rock modern music school will take the stage with the combos they have prepared for the occasion. Furthermore, the traditional jam session will not be missed, where professional musicians and enthusiasts can share the stage and actively participate in the festival. At the end of the jam, the traditional Valencian paella will be served to all attendees who wish to have some.
The festival continues to grow, confirming with each edition the solidity of a project launched by the Corbera Town Hall more than a decade ago. The event attracts visitors of various nationalities and generates a significant economic and promotional impact for the town and the region.
