We have on hands the new recording by Misty Blues, a prolific band which comes from Massachusetts, that communicates a good dose of feeling, thanks to the powerful, deep and inimitable voice of its leader, singer Gina Coleman and Seth Fleischmann’s electrifying guitar playing.

As usual, their music is basically nourished by genuine blues, although developed in a very actual way and spiced with bright colors added from other styles like jazz, roots music, Americana, folk and funk.

Up to date they have released seventeen albums, which illustrate their tireless and good work, that nowadays has a legion of faithful followers who always enjoy their music.

In 2024 they celebrated their twenty-five years anniversary, so they decided to record their seventeenth album that has been released in 2025 with eleven songs, most of them own compositions, which confirm that Misty Blues has an own stamp that makes them different from other similar bands, not only thanks to their members’ professionalism, but also to the careful song selection, arrangements and instrumentation.

The Misty Blues are Gina Coleman on vocals and guitar, Seth Fleischmann on guitar and vocals, Aaron Dean on sax and vocals, David Vittone, keyboards and vocals, Diego Mongue on bass and percussion and Rob Tatten on drums and vocals. The recording also includes some guest musicians and a splendid vocal group.

Versatile and eclectic music but, at the same time, full of strength and energy are the main features of an album that will satisfy most fans. VERY GOOD.
