From Finland singer, guitar player and composer Jo’ Buddy together with drummer Down Home King III come back with a recording filled with a good dose of raw blues, that immediately captivates us for its simplicity and genuineness.

Both musicians have been playing together for a long time, which makes them match very well. To celebrate their twenty years on the road, they have now released this new album, the fourth in their career and the first recorded live from the Paappa Music Pub in their hometown Tempere in Finland.

Ten songs with no gimmicks, no catches, no dubbings, no alternative takes and no guest musicians, which only aims to present what these musicians develop in every live show, presenting with honesty who they are, their real sound and what they deliver with undeniable quality when they are on stage.

Listening to this duo we immediately feel we are in those southern USA spots where North Mississippi Hill Country Blues, Delta Blues and down-home blues are still played and listened to, in some dark juke-joints and bars where every weekend old time and early rural blues can be found and savored, a music that undoubtedly still catches listeners with its hypnotics and wrapping rhythms.

It is quite surprising that musicians coming from Finland can faithfully develop that kind of blues, giving to them the true special touch and feeling that people usually think can only be found in the south of USA. However, both musicians have learned the lesson well and, therefore, they will surprise more than one.
