Participant in 2018 at the European Blues Challenge in Hell (Norway) and at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, in both cases representing Switzerland, singer, guitar and harmonica player Amaury Faivre brings us his last recording, which aim is to become a journey through USA and a tribute to American music, combining with elegance and wisdom styles like blues, bluegrass and roots rock.

Amaury is a versatile musician who easily moves with good taste among Chicago blues, Bob Dylan’s folk or performing as a “one man band”, although he can also play in an acoustic duo format, as well as with his electric band and he even dared to surround himself with a symphonic orchestra, you will discover listening to his previous albums that are a good example of his musical skills.

Born in France, he discovered harmonica when he was 8 years old and immediately was caught by the blues of Robert Johnson, Lightning’ Hopkins or John Lee Hooker. From that moment on, he decided he had to devote himself to music and started to train himself and study music. Today he is one of the most appreciated musicians in Switzerland, but also around Europe.

In this new release Amaury Faivre is on vocals, harmonica, guitars, mandolin, banjo and bass, surrounded by Julien Compagne on drums and percussion and Jeremie Tepper on pedal steel guitar.

Nine own songs plus the version of “Am I Wrong” by Keb’ Mo’ round up a relaxed album to travel with your mind along those long, lonely and dusty American roads or peacefully sit in the most comfortable armchair at home.
