Mad Dog Blues release their eighth album recorded live from Dog House Music Studios in Lafayette, Colorado, produced by John Remington and mastered by two-times Grammy winner David Glasser.

Led by harmonica player Mad Dog Friedman, who is well known for his total delivery on stage and his passionate harmonica playing, this new recording gets inspiration in American roots music tradition, without forgetting some genuine blues, along fifteen songs that invite listeners to a journey where they will discover the most representative landscapes of the rich musical heritage that comes from styles like folk, country, roots music and blues, all of them developed with good taste, elegance and good knowledge by the whole band, which even dares to include four instrumental songs that show these musicians’ and the invited guests’ talent.

As Mad Dog himself says, this album only aims to be a tribute to American music of all time, and the true thing is they manage to make listeners feel they are in the middle of those beautiful roads and can deeply feel the call of the most real, true and genuine America.

Mad Dog Friedman on harmonica, Jeff Becker on mandolin, Sean Bennight and Mark Kaczorowski on guitars and Clark Chanslor on bass form the band. Together with them you will find a series of guest musicians who contribute to give brightness and variety to an intimate but, and at the same time, colorful album, full of good and interesting moments.
