Although his major influences come from legendary blues singers and guitar players, Dennis Jones is also connected with the most actual sounds, so his compositions gather the best of both styles, delivering to listeners a unique combination of contemporary blues rock.

Before starting his solo career, Dennis was lead guitar in The Bus Boys and Zac Harmon Band and, with this last one, he was winner of 2004 Blues Music Awards.

Dennis Jones has released seven albums and one DVD, all of them recorded for his own record label Blue Rock Records.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Jones took his first steps in music playing drums, but he soon decided to devote himself to the guitar Robert Jr. Lockwood and Guitar Shorty were his mentors, although his musical concerns led him to begin to experiment with the guitar, always trying to push the limits, managing to brightly shine into the always competitive world of today’s blues rock guitarists.

This album features nine own compositions plus the version of “Mother Earth” coming from Memphis Slim. Incendiary guitar solos together with a deep voice and an overflowing energy perfectly define the personality and features of an artist who will surprise more than one.

Dennis Jones is on vocals and electric and acoustic guitars, Robert McDonald is on bass and Raymond Johnson on drums. The album also includes Paulie Serra on sax, Hammond B3 and Wurlitzer and Nio Wilson on backing vocals.
