Only aged 14, Keith Scott received his first guitar as a gift from his parents. At that time, he usually listened to Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin or Grand Funk Railroad. In 1980 Keith was living in Florida and, one day, Muddy Waters came to perform at the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville. The opening act included one of Scott’s best friends, who invited him to go together and then meet Muddy and his band. Keith was deeply impressed with that show and the professionalism all the musicians showed to him. Since that moment on, Keith only thought about creating a blues band, so when his friend suggested to travel to Chicago and there form a band to make a living playing blues, he didn’t think twice, because this was the opportunity to make his dream come true.

In Chicago he did not do badly at all and began to brush shoulders with most of the city musicians like Junior Wells, John Littlejohn, Big Voice Odom, Eddie Taylor or Little Milton, starting his musical adventure in blues scene.

In the 90’s, Keith Scott decided to start a solo career. Now he has released different albums, managing to make a name at Windy City scene. This album presents fifteen own compositions backed by The Electric Blues Junkies. All the songs are inspired by the terrible Covid moments, but always giving a positive vision and his belief in a better world. Not in vain Keith is a musician who looks the future with a good dose of optimism and he also is always willing to travel wherever he is called to play his blues and meet there new people who are as passionate about the blues as he is.
