Mizz Lowe grew up in Greenwood, Mississippi. She began to sing in school and the local church choir. His father owned a café and, in the juke-box, she listened to artists like BB King, Denise LaSalle, Little Milton, Tyrone Davis, Johnnie Taylor, Fats Domino or Bobby Rush. Soon Mizz started in show business and destiny drove her to become the principal dancer of Bobby Rush’s background choir. Today she has become his personal assistant.

Thanks to Bobby Rush, Mizz has traveled around the world, even performing in United Kingdom for Queen Elizabeth II, getting in 2017 a Grammy award together with Bobby Rush as “Best Traditional Blues Album”.

The experience she has gathered over the years with Bobby Rush and his band, has given her an amazing, very sexy and unconventional stage presence she combines with a seductive voice, something that can be appreciate in this new and first solo album, where she presents ten songs where blues, Southern soul or rhythm & blues with flashes of pop prevail, developed in a sophisticated sultry way, surrounded by an impressive band and the special collaboration of Bobby Rush, not only on vocals and harmonica in some songs but also as song composer and producer.
