This album follows the same path of Hudspeth & Taylor’s debut one “Folie A Deux”, which was nominated to The Blues Music Awards 2019 in Memphis.

This time Brandon Hudspeth on guitar and Jaisson Taylor on vocals and percussion, present twelve songs in the most genuine Delta blues tradition. All songs which have been selected for the album were written and recorded during the twenties and thirties of last century, but both musicians manage to give them a very particular and original sound, with a new air that will undoubtedly surprise most listeners but especially old Mississippi blues connoisseurs. According to both musicians’ words, their aim was to take some of their favorite old melodies that usually can’t be found in the set lists of the new generations of musicians who play old traditional blues, and give them new arrangements that make them different from the original songs coming from Blind Blake, Mance Lipscomb, Muddy Waters, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Willie Brown, Curtis Jones or Bukka White. So, they display them with a really modern approach according to the times we are living to, in this way, surprise and delight Delta blues lovers.

The result is no other than twelve magnificent pre-war blues developed with exquisite taste and sensibility by two fantastic musicians like Brandon Hudspeth and Jaisson Taylor.
