Boogie Patrol has built up a reputation as one of the best western Canada bands, a success that has gradually spread to an international level, thanks to a kind of music with deep influences of the golden age of soul, rhythm and blues, rock and roll and blues The group sounds compact, tribal and teamed, build over a strong basis and juicy rhythm patterns This new work perfectly reflects it, as it becomes an explosion of energy and joy that drives us to 70’s soul, funk and blues The ten original album songs are an energetic example of the staging power the band communicates in their live shows and also reflect the group composing skills The band includes Rott’n Dan Shinnan on vocals and harmonica, Yuji Aira on guitar, Chad Holtzman on guitar and vocals, Nigel Gale on bass and Emmet VanEtten on drums, percussion and vocals In the album there have also collaborated Marc Arnould on organ, Hammond B-3, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer and a powerful horn section called The Mocking Shadows, which provide good vibes, bright presence and lots of fun This is an album to keep on mind as it is really appealing, because it has been done with much feeling and an amazing passion
