    Valoración: VERY GOOD

Gifted with a very emotional style and obsessively in love of fifties blues tradition, singer and harp player ‘Diamond’ Dave Billing brings us a passionate powerful record with an excellent instrument control following the path of Charlie Musselwhite and Paul Butterfield He takes up these two masters technique and gets drunk with the style of both harp players but, at the same time, he gives his own knowledge and class which makes as a result an honest vitalist work You will also find on guitar a well known musician among Australian blues circles, Dave Brewer who, from Sydney to Perth, has built up a good reputation playing with different prestige bands such as The Mighty Reapers or The Catholics and deep T-Bone Walker, Buddy Guy or BB King’s influences The rest of the band musicians are Yugon Chobanoff on drums and Bob Thompson on bass A good classical blues record specially devoted to Little Walter’s harmonica playing style
