José Luis Pardo is a Buenos Aires singer and guitar player who deeply admires Albert King, he usually pays homage with his Argentina band, The Albert King Tribute Band When he was only nineteen years old, he visited some of the most emblematic cities for him, such as Memphis or Chicago, where he shared stage with Billy Branch, John Primer or Ray Killer Allison among others The Mojo Workers Band was founded four years ago by Jose Luis Pardo and drummer Mariano Costa The other actual musicians of the band are Mariano Llopis on acoustic bass and Adriano Torregian on sax, although for recording the cd –that was done on Spain- they have also included Francisco Salgado on trombone, Emiliano Poblete on trumpet or Maxi Romanelli on keyboards Seventeen songs, some of them José Luis Pardo own compositions sung in Spanish, combine with covers on a excellent well structured album, done with high professional mastery, that will certainly satisfy a wide range of listeners
