The legendary Night Shadows were a venerated band, very well known among ‘garage’ record collectors This short reissue on a limited edition cd, will be welcomed by their fans but, especially, by ‘garage’ music lovers Hottrax Records have had a very good idea when they have got The Night Shadows back with this first volume that gathers their ‘blues’ period with six different groups, from the first one in 1959 with singer and harmonica player Bobby ‘Bones’ Jones to the last one in 1964 where the vocal duo Little Erv & Judy was included This cd will be greatly appreciated for all Night Shadows’ fans and will also be a good opportunity for those who are not familiar with them to discover the tremendous punch and feeling this garage band had when they played blues Hottrax Records will publish volume two soon, with Little Phil’s period (from 1964 to 1967) followed by a third volume with their most psychodelic period (1967 to 1969)
