From Gaztelupeko Hotsak Records comes the fourth cd of an excellent band with musicians of great technique and artistic good taste Recorded live at Bogui Jazz club in Madrid, 3000 Hombres! Have done a cool spontaneous album, with an explosive mixture of musical genres, from jazz, blues, funk or soul to reggae, swing or latin music with rhythm and blues touch, all done on an acute suitable way and a quite surprising really interesting final result Jairo Zavala on vocals and guitar, Javier Vacas on bass and Antonio Alvarez on drums are the original 3000 Hombres!, who have given shape and sound to the whole cd For the occasion they have included a horn section with Norman Hoges and Ove Larsson on trombone and Gautama del Campo on sax, plus guest musicians Daniel Madariaga on piano in some tracks Seventy three minutes of good music, with versions of James Brown, Bob Marley, Ray Charles, Brandford Marsalis, Jimmy Reed or Willy Bobo songs, among others, all them with the band special arrangements and musical conception
