In the early 1980s the 11th Hour Band used to perform regularly in Boston-area clubs, giving audiences good doses of genuine rockin’ blues, rock ‘n’ roll and groove The band was active for more than two decades, but other personal projects made their ways move to different directions But the strong friendship and chemistry among guitarist Paul Lenart, harmonica player Richard Rosenblatt, bass player Bill Coach Mather and drummer Chuck Purro, was so big and close that the four musicians decided to join their forces again, this time under the name of 11 Guys Quartet, to follow on playing blues, either for their own pleasure or for the audiences who wished to see and listen them again live at Boston area clubs, bars or cafes, where they still live One of their first projects has been to release a new album with some old instrumental songs they recorded in 2008 Along the fourteen album songs, you will immediately discover the quality, good work and understanding among these four excellent blues musicians and, over all, good and great friends
