Throughout nine songs, the Monaghan coming artist presents a brutal and exuberant performing strength, sustained by crunchy guitar riffs and her unmistakable raspy voice, always full of honesty. Original songs such as the powerful “Tragedy” (co-written with Peter Wolf) and the title album track show the various internal tensions in perfect contrast with the chaotic actual world. The instrumentation feels totally analogue and organic, without unnecessary artificial arrangements, mainly thanks to a stellar studio band that includes drummer Kenny Aronoff and bass player J\u00f8rgen Carlsson.
