An excellent initiative coming from the Madrid Blues Society, to publish a double CD that gathers a wide collection of most of the bands which give shape to that city blues scene. The recording gives continuity to the one that MBS released some years ago with the title “Los Blues de la Ciudad Vol.1”.<\/p>\n
Twenty-eight bands have selflessly collaborated on this double Cd, each one contributing with one song that, not only display a variety of styles but also point out the quality and vitality of Madrid blues scene.<\/p>\n
We will not mention all the names because the list would be too long. Simply say that all of them show an undeniable quality and invite us to an attractive journey through the different ways of approaching the blues, something that makes this double cd diverse and very pleasant, allowing listeners to enjoy a good number of blues proposals.<\/p>\n
Produced by the MBS with a careful display, a suggestive front cover by Enrique Arranz and mastered by Edu Bighands, the two CD\u2019s are a recognition to all those who with their work contribute to make possible that blues is in good health in Madrid, besides becoming a tribute to the excellent city musicians. A tribute that also includes associations, venues, promoters, writers, photographers, programmers, fans… and, of course, MBS members who, with their support, keep the blues alive, something we want to make extensive to all those who work for the blues in Spain.<\/p>\n
