Born in Cincinnati, singer, guitar player and songwriter Dudley Taft learned soon to give value to the music that surrounded him, he used to listen to with his youth friends, which basically was roots blues and rock. After graduating at Berklee College of Music and spending several years playing with bands like Sweet Water or Second Coming, Dudley decided to start a solo career exploring new music paths like grunge or garage, without forgetting his most basic influences. His style could be defined as totally eclectic, something that allowed some of his songs to win different awards and appear in a good number of films and television series.<\/p>\n
Dudley has toured Europe several times where he has also been recognized not only as a guitar player but also as a composer. This is his tenth album which has been recorded in Europe, specifically in Czech Republic, with the musicians who have backed him on his tour, including Dave Marks on bass, keyboards and percussion, who has also co-produced the album, and Nick Owsianka on drums.<\/p>\n
Twelve own compositions that range from the most aggressive rock to the darkest grunge or psychedelia, without forgetting a few suggestive ballads, and some occasional bluesy touches give shape to the album, showing the expressive guitar strength of a musician who steps aside from the established rules to give us a very personal repertoire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
