The impressive voice of singer, guitar player and songwriter Andrew Duncanson has been compared to the one of artists like Van Morrison, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Junior Wells and even Howlin’ Wolf. For almost twenty years he has led Kilborn Alley Blues Band, and in 2022 and 2023, he also recorded with Dig3. Now he presents his first solo album, co-produced by Michael Peloquin, who also contributes with all horn arrangements, in addition to performing baritone and tenor sax, harmonica and composition.<\/p>\n
Along his wide career Duncanson has easily moved through different styles, ranging from the most raw and rough blues to the catching, dancing and sophisticated soul, which makes that all his recordings are deeply appreciated and delightful savored by many listeners who are looking for high quality Afro-American music.<\/p>\n
