Singer and guitar player Alan Pardo is a “rare avis” in the national blues world. Born in Barcelona in 1979, Alan is a self-made man, thanks to his enthusiasm for music and especially for the blues he discovered with Pepe G\u00f3mez or Ricky Sabat\u00e9s. Little by little he has immersed himself into the blues world, because he is aware this is a kind of music that has to be performed with a lot of feeling and from the depths of the heart. He now leads his own band that includes prestigious musicians of Barcelona music scene.<\/p>\n
This album presents seven songs where Pardo mixes styles like blues, country, swamp blues, American roots music or North Mississippi Hill country blues, developing these styles in a completely intimate and passionate way. Some of the album songs are sung in Spanish, which gives a different air to the songs.<\/p>\n
