From a very early age, Nelson Blanchard knew that when he grew up, he would be a professional musician, just like the ones in the bands which performed at his father’s club, the Pierre Part in Los Angeles. He soon learned to play piano and started to perform wurlitzer with The Richard Brothers group, also backing artists like John Fred, Kenny Neal, Tab Benoit or Louisiana’s LeRoux among others, discovering soon his skills as a composer. Since 1982 he owns Techno Sound Recording Studios where countless renowned musicians have recorded over the years. Now and after recording more than one hundred and fifty albums for other artists, Nelson has decided time has come to release his own records.<\/p>\n
Produced by Dan Tyler and David Hyde, the album gathers eleven songs that are a good example of the music he likes most, because Nelson is an open-minded man with an excellent musical taste. Blues, West Coast, Louisiana swamp blues and some soul and jazz give shape to an impressive album that, besides Nelson Blanchard on vocals, keyboards and guitar, includes a cast of twenty-four musicians who prestige and give variety to the songs.<\/p>\n
