After many years making his way on the road performing both in the most humble or elegant and different venues, now singer, guitar player and songwriter Scott Ellison bursts up with an undeniable strength and power, thanks to his particular powerhouse-blues sound that can be found in this interesting and tasteful album called “Zero-2-Sixty”.<\/p>\n
Scott has been in the music business since the late seventies when he started to be well known in his native Tulsa, Oklahoma as a member Eric Clapton\u2019s and Freddie King\u2019s bands. In 1980 and 1981 Scott was also member of Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown\u2019s band which enabled him to be among the most admired and recognized Texas blues scene guitar players.<\/p>\n
In the mid-eighties he settled in Los Angeles and became a prestigious session musician, putting his guitar to the service of Gary “US” Bonds and Peaches & Herb. In the nineties he decided to form his own band, opening for artists like Roy Orbison, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joe Cocker, Leon Russell or Buddy Guy among others. Since there on, Scott Ellison has not stopped to be involved in different projects, besides playing regularly and recording some albums.<\/p>\n
Now he presents a fantastic well produced work, with a bunch of songs where he shows his talent as a guitar player and composer, as well as his skills as singer with an infectious communicative voice.
