{"id":47479,"date":"2022-12-01T00:24:04","date_gmt":"2022-11-30T22:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lahoradelblues.com\/?p=47479"},"modified":"2022-11-07T18:39:47","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T16:39:47","slug":"the-lucky-losers-standin-pat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lahoradelblues.com\/en\/the-lucky-losers-standin-pat\/","title":{"rendered":"The Lucky Losers \u201cStandin\u2019 Pat\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Led by singer Cathy Lemons and guitar and harmonica player Phil Berkowitz, The Lucky Losers come from San Francisco to present their new album &#8220;Standin&#8217; Pat&#8221; recorded for VizzTone Records under the clever direction of Richard Rosenblatt.<\/p>\n<p>The recording gathers eleven own songs that reflect the challenges and disappointments of today&#8217;s American society, which become a unique and personal mixture of styles like blues, retro soul, R&amp;B and Americana music, all performed with a lot of groove and passion, as well as a sensual funny delicacy, spiced with a dancing rhythm, thanks to the distinctive Cathy\u2019s voice, which is always perfectly supported by all the musicians who participate on it.<\/p>\n<p>The album has been recorded and produced at Greaseland Studios. The musicians\u2019 line-up includes Cathy Lemons on vocals, Phil Berkowitz on harmonica -he plays with a remarkable tone-, and vocals, Ian Lamson on guitar, Chris Burns on keyboards, Endre Tarczy on bass and Jon Otis on drums.
