Pure 50’s rockabilly, country, blues and rhythm and blues by this fantastic legendary singer and harmonica player called Delbert McClinton. For this album he has gathered a selection of songs by some of the artists who mostly influenced him in his younger days and are still in his heart. Songs coming from Lloyd Price, Jimmy Reed, Little Richard, Hank Williams or Amos Milburn, as well as some own compositions, all them full of those 50’s wonderful old sounds and melodies. Delbert sings with his personal and unmistakable style, giving to each song a special delicious flavor and a unique wonderful rhythm. The arrangements are cool with a new, bright and juicy air… without losing the essence, soul and spirit of the original songs.

To round up the album Delbert McClinton has counted with some first-class musicians, who produce a faultless sound, high quality arrangements and a superb production.

Finally mention that Rolling Stone magazine defined Delbert McClinton as ‘The Godfather Of Americana Music’, so let me only say that if you listen carefully to this recording, you will immediately discover why.
