It is always worthy that a four years Russian boy was caught by American music. That is what happened to singer and guitar player Paul Cafcae who, at that young age, devoted himself to listen to illegal cassettes and pirate records by Elvis Presley, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Roy Orbison or Beatles. When he was six years old his parents enrolled him in a specialized music school in St. Petersburg, where he learned music theory, as well as developing his vocal skills and also studying accordion and piano. Later on he could follow his studies in Maryland, where he started to play in various American and European bands. Now he lives in Canada where he has consolidated his musical career.

If anyone thinks that an artist from Eastern Europe cannot get and develop the genuine spirit of American music, is completely wrong, as Paul Cafcae not only confirms this is not true, but also lets us see that he and all the musicians involved in the album know how to capture the whole spirit and essence of styles like rock and roll, country, blues and roadhouse music, along ten passionate songs full of groove and feeling that will shake most listeners’ musical foundations.
