Only aged thirteen and in his native Sardinia, singer and guitar player Federico Luiu discovered blues and country music thanks to his father’s record collection. Names like Muddy Waters, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Albert Collins or Albert King were familiar to him and helped to form his musical taste.

In 2012 Federico settled in Canada, where he soon began to play with the most prominent musicians of that area and especially with his admired Matt Schofield. With his quartet Sons Of Rhythm he performed at many Canadian festivals, and he also came back to Italy to participate at the Porto Ferro Bluesunset Festival.

In 2019 Federico began his solo career, so this album serves as his introduction, thanks to seven interesting songs where Fererico Luiu is surrounded by a good team of musicians like Alexis Baro, Anthony Brancati, Joey Landreth, Alison Young or Matt Schofield among others. This is a recording where blues, rock and country music combine with undeniable taste and good sense, to let us discover an artist with a splendid future ahead as, despite his youth, he plays and develops his music with an enviable maturity.
