Paul San Mart\u00edn <\/strong>nace en San Sebasti\u00e1n en 1979. Titulado superior en piano jazz, su gran pasi\u00f3n fue y sigue siendo el blues. Su primer contacto con el este estilo fue a trav\u00e9s de los grupos de rhythm & blues brit\u00e1nico de los a\u00f1os 60. Lleva actuando desde los 15 a\u00f1os y actualmente se halla totalmente inmerso en la tradici\u00f3n pian\u00edstica del blues, dominando estilos como el \u201cstride\u201d o el \u201cboogie woogie\u201d. En 2011 public\u00f3 en el sello Gaztelupeko Hotsak su primer trabajo en solitario, \u201cTracks\u201d, un disco a piano y voz.
\nJunto a su grupo ha participado en diferentes festivales de blues y, durante cinco a\u00f1os consecutivos, ha actuado en el prestigioso Festival de Jazz de San Sebasti\u00e1n. En verano de 2007, la banda public\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n su primer disco.
\nEntre sus influencias destacan las de m\u00fasicos como Alan Price, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roosevelt Sykes, Memphis Slim, Otis Spann, Sunnyland Slim, Dr John, Professor Longhair o James Booker
\nA lo largo de su ya amplia trayectoria, Paul San Mart\u00edn ha colaborado con artistas de gran relevancia, entre los que destacan Nico Wayne Toussaint, Otis Grand, Gerry Hundt, Llu\u00eds Coloma, James Armstrong, \u00d1aco Go\u00f1i, Slam Allen, Sax Gordon, Chris Ruest o la legendaria leyenda del blues, Billy Boy Arnold. En 2013, Paul edit\u00f3, de nuevo en la compa\u00f1\u00eda Gaztelupeko Hotsak, un trabajo a piano y voz, \u201cPaul\u2019s Mood\u201d, nueva inmersi\u00f3n pian\u00edstica en los diferentes estilos del blues.
\nEn 2023 fue ganador junto al grupo Noa & The Hell Drinkers del European Blues Challenge celebrado en Chorz\u00f3w (Polonia).
\nPaul viene directamente desde San Sebasti\u00e1n para participar en el ciclo Fridays Blues & Boogie Woogie piano meeting del MEAM.<\/p>\n

Marc Ferrer<\/strong> empieza a tocar el piano a los 5 a\u00f1os cursando estudios en el Conservatorio Municipal de Barcelona. Desde muy joven comienza a interesarse por el Blues y el Jazz.
\nDespu\u00e9s de pasar por diversas formaciones, en 1996 entra a formar parte del grupo Chevy & the Hot Wheels, hoy refundado como The Big Jamboree.
\nEs miembro de formaciones como The Big 3, Velvet Candles o Big5 y ha colaborado con m\u00fasicos como Marian Barahona, Big Dani P\u00e9rez, Agust\u00ed Burriel, Pere Mir\u00f3, Oriol Roman\u00ed, Ricard Gili, Paul Evans, V\u00edctor Puertas, Dale Hawkins, JD McPherson, Tammy Savoy entre muchos otros. Ha tocado en reputados escenarios como La Bo\u00eete, Jamboree, Bel\u00b7luna Jazz Club, Milano Cocktail Bar, Casa Fuster o Half Note Jazz Club (Atenas). Ha participado en destacados festivales como el Festival de Blues de Barcelona, el Festival de Blues de Cerdanyola, R&R Festival Paris, Country Rock Toulouse, Rock & Roll Festival Attignat, Jazz Cittaducale a Roma o el Rythm\u2019 Riot al Regne Unit.
\nJunto a su tr\u00edo ha publicado varios discos muy apreciados entre los aficionados, fundando su propio estudio de grabaci\u00f3n y el sello discogr\u00e1fico Ambit Records.
\nHa aparecido en los programas \u201cSputnik\u201d, \u201cLa Cosa Nostra\u201d de Andreu Buenafuente, \u201cRitmes i Blues a l\u2019estudi\u201d y \u201cCava de Blues\u201d de Televisi\u00f3n de Catalunya y TV3. Actualmente forma parte de la banda musical del programa \u201cLate Show con Marc Gir\u00f3\u201d y tambi\u00e9n colabora con programa de radio semanal \u201cSitjazz de V\u00edctor Oll\u00e9.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
