Two experienced musicians like singer and piano player Sirjo Cocchi and guitar player Balta Bordoy have joined forces to present an excellent new project that will undoubtedly make people talk about.

Sirjo is an impressive singer and reliable keyboard player with a long career behind him. He has traveled to USA and participated at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, also backing legendary artists like Vaneese Thomas, Lisa Fisher (Rolling Stones), Otis Grand or Big Daddy Wilson, as well as opening to artists like The Blues Brothers Band, Solomon Burke, Maceo Parker, Chaka Khan or Dionne Warwick.

On the other hand, Balta is a magnificent and veteran blues guitarist who has performed with the greatest musicians of Barcelona blues scene, as well as leading his own band Los Peligrosos Gentlemen. He has also played or backed musicians like Alex Schultz, Detroit Gary Wiggins, James Harman, Barrelhouse Chuck, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Keith Dunn, Roger Wade, Lluís Coloma & Sax Gordon, Kyle Esplin or Myriam Swanson & The Rhythm Treasures, among many others.

This is the debut album of this new excellent band and includes ten songs of the most actual blues but, at the same time, strongly based on tradition, where both musicians give free rein to their many skills, showing their exquisite technique and good taste to develop all the songs, something that will undoubtedly satisfy the most demanding listeners. Both musicians are perfectly backed by Santi Ursul on bass and Micky Izquierdo on drums.

We are lucky to count with this new musical proposal, that confirms the quality of the blues that is now performed in Spain, as well as the excellence of this band musicians.
