Making the most of some free days between the shows in Madrid and Copenhagen, Erkan Özdemir, bass tour player and manager, suggested singer and guitar player Shawn Pittman to go to a studio near the city to record some tracks Both musicians together with drummer Levent Özdemir went to that studio without any established idea of what they were going to record There, they met a twenty-one years man called Christian Heyman Zinckernagel, owner of the recording studio and passionate about vintage gears and sound Shawn was delighted, because he had in mind to get that warm sound provided by old tube amps and Fender Telecaster guitars Chemistry immediately arose among Christian and the musicians so, from that moment, the most genuine sound and blues spontaneously came along a recording session performed with no overdubs or other usual effects From that amazing session come the thirteen tracks that have been included in this album as they were performed live at the studio, gathering own songs and versions This is a cool, honest, recording, performed with a good dose of feeling to produce a strong, complete real deep blues album, which will deeply impact on listeners
