According to his own words Roger “Hurricane” Wilson considers himself as a blues singer, guitar player and composer, although he also devotes his time to music educator, radio DJ and music journalist, besides act as a judge at the International Blues Challenge.

This is his 28th album, where Roger invites us to enjoy some songs recorded live in order that, as he says, we are able to totally immerse ourselves in the blues sounds he gets out from his guitar and as well as appreciate his fingerpicking style, all spiced with some rock.

Thirteen songs performed live in front of an attentive joyful audience and, although the recording quality is not excellent, serve to appreciate the contribution of a man who for fifty years has been teaching young and not so young generations to play guitar, besides touring around the whole country with his blues on his back, something that has led him to share stage with artists like B.B. King,  Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, (he recorded an album with Willie playing harmonica), or Charlie Musselwhite.

If you are looking for the genuine and sincere honesty of a live show at a small club on a hidden corner of United States, this album will satisfy you.
