Mudcat keeps the music energy in his body and soul. On stage he immediately communicates all his energy to completely different audiences. His musical style is an eclectic mixture of Georgia blues, cajun, ragtime, country & western, dixieland and other similar Americana roots music. For “The Mess Is On” Mudcat has included sixteen songs, in the same path of his usual repertoire, all them with a joyful party wrapping and a wide variety on instrumental richness played with the five musicians of his band plus four special guests on different instruments like washboard, accordion, congas, percussion, organ and wurlitzer. The Atlanta Horns also joined is some tunes to give a happy magic atmosphere. It is a well done and very original cd.
