Micke Bjorklof is a Finnish singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer. He leads his band, Blue Strip, as well as a trio with two excellent musicians like Lefty and Chef.

This time and to celebrate his 60th birthday, he has given us an album that collects nine previously recorded songs that, for some reason, had not been included in any of his albums. The songs belong to different periods and allow us to see the evolution and work of this group of musicians who, starting from the most traditional blues, have gradually added new elements to their music, so both classic blues lovers and those who prefer blues rock will be satisfied when they are enjoying this album.

After listening again to these songs that, at the time, did not fit in his recordings, Micke decided they deserved a second chance because their quality still is remarkable, so he decided to present them on this album. Although they belong to different periods ranging from the year 2000 up to present, they give an overview of the work and the influences that Micke and his band have been collecting and absorbing, which make this album become an enjoyable and varied one.

Micke Bjorklof is on vocals, guitar and harmonica, backed by Lefty Leppänen on electric, acoustic and resophonic guitars, Seppo Nuolikoski on bass and vocals, Teemu Vuorela on drums and Timo Roiko-Jokela on vibraphone and percussion.
