In 2012 and after playing together and separately in many bands and backing several artists, Lionel Wernet and Gipsy Bacuet decided to work as a duo and assemble a blues repertoire that would pay tribute to those artists they deeply loved like Gary Moore, BB. King, Fred Chapellier, Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Etta James…

Since his childhood Lionel has been a really good friend with Fred Chapellier, who encouraged him to start a musical career that really merged when he decided to join Gipsy Bacuet.

This album and the next one become a good example of both musicians’ work and give us a broad vision of their understanding and versatility. In this album they present a repertoire with rock, ballads and blues, styles they approach from an avant-garde vision that, along the eleven album songs, talk about love and the different ways it comes to our lives.

Gipsy Bacuet is on vocals, Lionel Wernet on guitars, François Barisaux on keyboards, Philippe Drandrimont on bass, Jonathan Thillot on drums and, of course Fred Chapellier on guitar as guest musician.

Both this recording and the following one form an interesting product to be appreciated by all listener who like to discover new and good quality performers.
