Nominated in 2018 to the Blues Blast Awards and launched internationally by German label Ruf Records in 2021 as member of the Blues Caravan Revue, singer and multi-instrumentalist Katie Henry walks with firm straight steps along the difficult and competitive world of actual rock-blues.

This is her second recording where she has included ten songs written in collaboration with bass player and excellent slide guitarist Antar Goodwin, all them covering a varied range of styles and colors that allow listeners to appreciate and savor the effective versatility of an artist who moves comfortably in styles such as blues, rock, rhythm and blues, funk, pop, soul and country.

Although at first glance it may seem she is far from roots music, if you dig deep in her music, you will realize Katie gathers influences coming from John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt or Janis Joplin.

The album has been recorded live at Degraw Sound studios in Brooklyn with the clever production, mixing and sound engineering of Ben Rice, who also plays guitar in the album. He manages to pull out all the strength and charm coming from this young but at the same time experienced artist.
