Hurricane Ruth is an unleashed force of nature, a powerful hurricane that sweeps the board in her path on stage, as she is a woman born to sing which immediately connects with the audience.

Over the years Hurricane has shared stage with John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Taj Mahal, Sam & Dave, Fenton Robinson or Kenny Wayne Shepherd among other blues, soul and rock-blues luminaires and, most of her records, have also reached the ‘top ten’ blues charts.

This new CD has been recorded live from the ‘3rd And Lindsley’ in Nashville under the supervision of Tom Hambridge where she was backed by Scott Holt and Nick Nguyen on guitars, Calvin Johnson on bass, Lewis Stephens on keyboards, Tom Hambridge on drums and the special collaboration of Jimmy Hall on vocals in the song “As The Years Go Passing By” and on harmonica in the just mentioned song and in “Make Love To Me”.

The album collects in fourteen songs all the strength, energy, feeling and electrifying force this amazing singer is able to communicate, as she gives off fire, passion and commitment in each and every one of the songs she performs, something that few singers can show off today.
