Fran McGillivray Band is a trio coming from United Kingdom with Fran McGillivray on vocals, bass, flute and keyboards, Mike Burke on guitar, mandolin and vocals and Roger Nunn on drums, percussion and vocals. The three musicians are deep lovers of blues, folk and roots music, styles they perform with a total respect and good communication with the audience.

After five years devoting to immerse themselves into the roots of these specific genres, also spending often their time to travel here and there to know on site the most hidden secrets of these styles, they now publish a recording with thirteen own songs, where they have included most of the influences they have gathered during these years of rigorous study. All the album songs have a wrapping atmosphere and a rich sound as well, that will gradually catch the listener with a hypnotic music, driving them to a landscape full of great poetry and beautiful sounds, thanks to their skill in displaying their music with a high degree of sensitivity.

The song lyrics also contribute to create this just described marvelous environment, thanks to very actual references to people concerns, such as climate change or the terrific physical and mental consequences of the pandemic that is now hitting us.
