From Memphis Big Radio Records presents an album by singer, harmonica player and song-writer Christopher Wyze and his band The Tellers, recorded from a live show they performed on October 1, 2024, in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The album also includes a DVD divided into two parts, one including the same gig, and the second one a 50-minute documentary entitled “Wyze In Clarksdale” where Christopher hosts that unforgettable journey into the places, people and stories that were the birthplace of the blues.

Nephew of the legendary Sam Phillips of Sun Records, Johnny Phillips, owner of Big Radio Records, trusted this band that, although it included veteran musicians, had appeared out of nowhere and he only knew that, in 2024, they had recorded their first album “Stuck In The Mud” where two of the songs, “Stuck In The Mud” that gave title to it and “Back To Clarksdale” had reached number one on the charts, which made the band to be ranked among the most outstanding ones in 2024. Curiously, the group had a base of online followers, their debut album had received very good reviews, outstanding sales figures, and was broadcasted on a good number of radio stations, but he was not aware they had performed a live show. That is why it was decided this new album would be recorded live and from such a unique place as The Juke Joint Chapel located in the legendary Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale.
